The drive alone was pretty high up there for him, too. Just relaxing watching the world pass as they traveled, talking and enjoying her company. It had him more excited just to spend a few days with her. He didn't plan to turn his phone off this time, since he never did at conventions but, he doubted they'd get disturbed. He'd revisit turning it off if they did.

Gary looked amused at her reaction as he caught her and wrapped his arms around her to hold her close. He didn't try to spin her this time. "I'm glad you liked it, babe, it's all ours until Monday afternoon." He doubted she'd be up and about on time to leave if he didn't make it an afternoon checkout.
