Feeling her touching his face, it was good she'd gotten used to the scruff, it wasn't going anywhere. Gary looked down at her with the dazed look. The edible mostly, but he enjoyed the way she was looking at him.

"Technically, there's like more. Uhh, well, Gold is Command and Bridge Crew, Blue is both Science and Medical. And, Red is Operations, which includes engineering and security. That's why the red shirts go down on the planets and die."

"I don't want to be the one that goes and dies." Harley frowned and tucked her head under his chin. She reached for his hand and tangled their fingers together. "So then blue, I guess, since those are doctors."

"Well, I would have assumed operations if you went red, babe." He admitted but looked her over again as she linked their hands and tangled their fingers together. Squeezing her fingers in his as he offered her a smile. "You'll rock that outfit, I know a place to order it if you really want it, Dr. Quinn." This man, really, does not realize Quinn isn't her actual last name. He just thinks it is a funny Dr. Quinn Medicine Woman joke.

"Zel," she added absentmindedly, tracing the fingers of her other hand along his jaw.

"Is that a thing you want me to do? Play dress up?" She didn't sound against the idea.

"Huh?" He was a little slow on the uptake, between her tracing her fingers along his jaw and still paying attention to the show. "The money app?" He should have realized she didn't mean Zelle.

"It might be fun to try, no pressure, though. I love you just the way you are." He answered, before motioning to the TV. "This part is great."

Harley turned her attention back to the show, still idly touching him, and let the scene finish playing out before she spoke up again.

"Dr. Quinzel. My name."

He had placed a kiss on the top of her head when they both paid attention to the scene, but when she spoke up again, he looked confused a second.

"Wait, what?" As it clicked. "OH! Dude, I had no idea. That makes so much sense." That's why Monarch called her a harlequin... "Is your first name actually Harley? And do you want me to say it Quinzel?" Those questions turning that pleasant buzz into a bit of a dread, mostly feeling like he fucked up not knowing. He knows better these days than to blurt out what he's thinking at least.

"Mm? No, no, I don't really use it anymore." She sat up and pecked him on the cheek. "Harley is short for Harleen but I've never liked being called that."

"Oh, cool. Totally, cool." Her sitting up, pecking his cheek, helped ease the dread. Birth names never seemed to matter much in their line of work anyway. It took the Monarch years to realize his name is Gary. And he had only learned the Monarch's real name once they moved to Jersey. Maybe this was like that.

Nodding, he reached up to trace his finger over her jaw, but was still draped on the couch. Clearly comfortable for now. "Totally fair, and I like Harley a lot, so, no worries there. I so get it, Gary's short for Garrett, only my mom uses it. Mostly when I'm in trouble." He didn't share that with many, he knew Sheila knew, and 24 from hearing his mom yell it once. Otherwise, it just never seemed important to share.

"Well, I like Gary a lot." Her grin was a little dopey as she stretched and settled against his body. She kissed him softly, her attention split between the show and him.

"Well, I like you a lot." It was so cheesy, but he had to say it as it entered his mind. Kissing her in return as he held her close once she settled back against him. After the kiss, he added. "And yeah, babe, I'd love to see you in that outfit."

"Okay." Harley leaned over to grab her phone from the floor, pulled up a browser, and handed it to him. "Show me where to get it."

A chime rang out and startled her, until she placed the sound as a doorbell. "Ooh, pizza!" Had it really been so long already? They were at the end of an episode, so time must have been passing. Harley got up and went to get their dinner with a spring in her step.

AS soon as she handed him her phone, he held it up and started to pull up the website. Realizing she was moving away, he looked up. "Oh, the Pizza."

The website pulled up and navigated to the Star Trek page, sitting it on the coffee table as he willed himself to sit up like it was the hardest thing he would ever do. Sometimes, this one could, and would be dramatic, but mostly he was high and comfortable. Food was too good to ignore for comfort.

Harley muddled through the brief interaction with the delivery driver, balancing on the edge of realizing you're higher than you thought while trying not to let on that you're high in front of a stranger. The driver absolutely knew, and absolutely did not care. This happened all the time.

She thought she got away with something though, and looked smug with victory as she carried in the boxes and set them on the table. Harley settled onto the couch next to him and flipped open a box to grab a slice.

"Oooooh it's good!"

It took Gary a few minutes while she was handling the food to set himself up. The remote sat on the table as he looked up at her with the normal goofy smile as she returned. She was just so pretty. More so while he was high. Bless those bright windows, making her hair damn near seem sparkling in the sun.

Reaching over to grab a piece as he sat back again, and took a bite. "Hell yeah, it is!" He agreed working on the pizza before adding. "This was such a great idea."

Harley chuckled around a mouthful of pizza and sank back into the cushions. She nudged his leg with her knee. This was an excellent idea.

The next episode began playing as they ate. She was able to stay focused and tuned in for the whole thing. She's doing good! Praise her! Give her awards!

He nudged her playfully back. Enjoying the fun as they ate and watched together.

Gary was so pleased at her paying attention, looking over at her, both fond but clearly high. "Enjoying it so far? You haven't asked much this episode." He had to ask, he didn't want her bored just to make him happy.

Harley rolled her head to look at him with a vague, satisfied smile.

"Yeah, I like it." She giggled and leaned into him again. "Can't promise I'll remember all of it later, but this is nice!"

Everything she did with him was nice. He's nice.

That vague, satisfied smile, just sent the butterflies fluttering. He knew the feeling would lessen in time, but for now he'd treasure it.

"Glad to hear that, I worried you might not. Whose your favorite so far?" He asked before leaning forward to grab two garlic knots, offering one her way. "It's cool if you forget, we can just watch again!"

Gary liked that idea, anything to get to spend time with her.

Harley bent her head to eat from his hand, her lips briefly closing around his fingers. She didn't realize he was just trying to hand it to her.

"I guess Kirk? But I wanna see that lady on the bridge do more stuff."

Those green eyes went wide, biting his lip as she literally ate from his hand. Her lips closing around his fingers, a jolt shot through him.

His voice hitting that almost cracking tone when he responded. "Uhura, shes awesome. I've always liked Bones and Spock a lot." He rambled a little, finally eating he is garlic knots.

"Bones is the..." She tipped her head back and furrowed her brows. Her nose scrunched up in concentration. "That's the doctor." She frowned. "He gets so grumpy."

"Sometimes grumpy is fun. He really is fun as things go on, him and Sulu." He enjoyed explaining even if she might not remember. Either way he was having fun. And intended to keep watching until she got bored or one of them fell asleep.

She made a small disbelieving noise but if Gary said it got fun, she'd give it a try. She tucked herself against his side and pulled his arm around her shoulders, planting his hand on her boob.

"I think I can do one more episode before I need a break."

Their ideas of fun might differ. The moment she pulled his arm around, and it planted on her boob, he squeezed it. As if he wouldn't. And yet, he kept working on his pizza with the other one and watching the episode with her.

"Oh yeah, totally cool. What do you want to do after?" He asked, tossing the crust back on the box like a monster.
