[ He let the controller relax in his hand, looking over at her, worried he'd misstepped. ]

Yeah, dude, absolutely. I didn't mean to bring us down, my bad.

[ Gary apologized in his own way. ]

Another round, or something? [ He offered as a distraction.]

[ She nodded and picked up the controller again for a few more rounds, but she just didn't get as into it as before. ]

Sorry, I'm being boring.

[ Gary didn't seem to bothered by it, just playing the few rounds, but when she spoke he paused and sat the controller aside, shifting to face her. ]

You're not being boring, Harley. What do you think I would have done at home? [ He motioned to the switch.] You're in your head a little, and I kinda caused that. So, it's my fault. How can I help make it better? No pressure, though, sometimes it's best to feel crumby for a while. At least I think so.

[ He knew he'd have never moved on from losing his best friend if he hadn't let himself be sad for a long while.

Gary did open his arms for her, offering a light smile. ] I got you, Harley.

[ Harley didn't hesitate to crawl onto his lap and into his arms. She pressed her face against the side of his neck until she could get her expression to be less of a bummer. ]

I love you.

[ Both of Gary's arms went around her, and he held her tight, just not too tight. Resting his head against the top of hers. A kiss dropped on the top of her head. ]

I love you too, Harley. And if you need to cry, I'll never tell a soul. [ He didn't think she would, but he knew how pride can be in the villain circles. ]

I don't wanna cry, and I don't wanna be in my head. I want to be right here, with you.

[ She pressed a kiss to this side of his neck before sitting back enough to look at him. ]

A lot of stuff in my life has been-- Not. Great? And if you knew the details you'd get upset. I don't want to upset you.

[ Gary made a noise to let her know he was listening. Not quite being sure what to say, but he did keep that hug going. Letting his hands slip to her rest on her hips when she sat back to look at him.

Not looking upset, or worried. Just his usual expression. ]

I get that, Harley. We all got skeletons in the closet and chapters we don't read out loud. I'm not judging or anything, and I can't promise things won't upset me, but if you ever want to share, I'll be happy to listen. For now, [ He pulled the light smile back up. ] I'm right here with you, and not going anywhere without you.

[ Obviously, until they have to part ways and go back to their respective cities. That went without saying. ]

[ She almost pointed out that he absolutely would be leaving without her in just a few hours, but she didn't want to start a fight at this exact moment. Keep that in her pocket for a later act of sabotage. ]

[ That was a bridge he knew they would eventually have to cross, but for now he figured it was fine. He nodded when she asked. ]

Yeah, that would be cool. [ Gary was so easy to distract sometimes. ]

[ Sometimes, it is nice to solve problems this easily. ]

Okay, cool.

[ She held his face in her hands and nipped at his lip. ]

[ Gary didn't speak aloud but grinned just before she nipped his lip. His hands squeezed her hips, before sliding up her back. Leaning in to kiss her, its been a few months but he hadn't forgotten her lessons.]

[ Harley pressed into him, pushing him against the headboard as she explored his mouth. ]

[ He didn't fight at all, enjoying the way she pushed him back. Kissing her back, his tongue working against hers as she explored.

His hands both moving to refamiliarise themselves with the curves of her body. A pleased little noise spilling between their kiss. This he could do all day. ]

[ Harley relaxed enough to practically melt into him. She murmured pleased sounds and soft encouragement against his mouth. She wrapped her arms around him and slid her hands into his hair. ]

[ Those sounds would always get him going. Not that kissing her didn't as well. He made a rumbling noise when her hands went into his hair. One of his hands sliding up under the front of her shirt to feel her up over her bra, if she had one on.

The other slid down to grab her ass. He felt at ease with her, which helped him being less anxious. Gary had no reason to be anxious with Harley. ]

[ Harley did have a bra on and briefly panicked that she hadn't thought to wear a nice one. But she figured Gary wouldn't mind if he was the one who got to take it off.

Shit, would he know how to do that? Had he ever taken a bra off before? Last time she had removed it before they even got started.

She squirmed on his lap and reached back quickly to unhook the bra clasp. ]

[ She was right, he absolutely didn't care if it wasn't a nice one. He probably wouldn't even notice.

She was also right to just remove it herself. He'd never tried to remove one, but he would learn later. Since she was already removing it. Breaking the kiss when she squirmed, Gary's green eyes half lidded watching her as she squirmed and removed it. ]

You're like, so hot, right now. [ He spoke low, leaning back in to nip at her neck.]

[ She's hot, like, all the time, and she had no trouble tooting her own horn in that aspect. Harley tipped her head to give him more of her neck and rocked her hips again.

She carefully tugged his hair tie free so she could slide her fingers through his hair again. ]

[ She is always hot, but this nerd will take a while to get used to having such a beautiful woman into him. It totally ruled.

Gary kept working kisses into her neck, taking a moment to try to leave a mark. He figured she'd make it known if she didn't like that. Granted, she was doing a good job of distracting him with those rocking hips. He shifted his head a little closer to her neck to keep it up, and to help her with getting his hair down. ]

Harley. [ He muttered her name against her skin.]

[ Harley liked that he got felt like leaving marks now that he had a little more confidence. She whispered encouraging words to get more of that. She loved how nice he was, but that didn't mean she always wanted him to be only nice. ]

What is it, Gare-bear? Something you wanna say to me?

[ That confidence would keep growing the more comfortable he got. There was something he found utterly hot about leaving a mark on her, letting her remember he was there even when they were apart. An idea forming in his head for later.

But he pulled back after sucking at the skin of her neck a little more. His eyes a bit hazed with desire, it was easy to get him going.]

Totally just how much I'm enjoying this. [ Reaching out, he tipped her head back, so he could lean back in to keep working at her neck. The hand that had lifted her head, sliding back down and under her shirt again to feel her breast under the unclasped bra.]

[ Harley sucked in a small breath when he worked mark onto her skin and gasped when he tipped her head back for more. Her fingers tightened in his hair. ]

Me too...

[ She arched her back to push her breast into his searching hand. ]

[ Gary rocked his hips once against her when Harley tightened her hold on his hair. A rumble came from his chest when she arched into his searching hand. His fingers finding their prize. First squeezing the full weight, before teasing her nipples.

Finally kissing more down her neck once he was happy with the mark left. He might feel bad later when he saw it, but who knew. Right now it was totally awesome.]

[ She broke their kiss with a drag of her teeth, just the way she remembered he liked. ]

Hey Gary, you missed me, didn't you?

[ The jerk of her hips had stopped being an occasional punctuation and found a tempo, which meant they were pretty much humping now. Very sloppy teenage makeout of them. ]
