[ She leaned into his hand and looked at him, trying to read secret motives or agendas in his expression. Of course, not finding any. She took a deep, shaking breath. ]

I want to give this a shot.

[ Gary's face lit up some when Harley responded. The hand on her leg squeezing a little, and his other stayed on her cheek still, just relishing in it all.]

Me too, Harley, I'm totally in on this. You so look like you need a hug? Want a hug? Then I can double-check that rule book. I brought it like I promised last time.

[ The rambling mess he can be sometimes, he had to add. ]

Not that I wouldn't break guild law for you, I've broken it for less.

[ She opened her arms and waited for him to wrap her up. ]

[ He carefully pushed himself up, moving the hand off her cheek to go to her back, so he didn't knock her off the bed while he sat up. Both arms came around her to hold her close against him. His face resting against hers, he was still using that beard oil, and even found one that went well with his cologne. ]

I'm so glad you're back, dude. Like all of this aside, I missed you a lot.

[ Gary knew it might be sappy, but fuck it. Who would know besides Harley? ]

[ She held him tight and breathed him in. ]

I missed you too. I didn't mean to be away that long but everything got so weird.

[ Gary was pleased as could be, just holding her close. Just taking in having her there and the fact that he really didn't expect this day to go like this so far. Epic day. ]

It's totally cool, I get it, we live crazy lives. As long as you're alright, and you always eventually come back, I'm cool as can be.

[ Eventually, he'd have to tell her about his phone getting hacked, but at least the pictures he took of her never ended up on the internet. That could wait.

For now, Gary decided to lift the mood again by tickling her again. He loved the sound of her laughter.]

[ Here she was, minding her own business, and then her OWN BOYFRIEND viciously attacked her! Harley shrieked in surprise and practically launched herself over his shoulder by reflex trying to get away. ]

[ A tickle attack was such a vicious attack. Truly a dastardly villain she accepted here.

Her reaction was so worth it. He burst out laughing when she went over his shoulder, falling back on the bed he twisted to try and catch her.]

[ Harley sputtered laughing and squirmed away from the tickle menace. ]

Gary, what the fuck!

[ He used that moment to pull her back a bit. He payed attention last time they were together. ]

I like hearing you laugh, so deal. Unless it gets too much! [ He had to add the last part cause if she said stop he would.]

[ Harley grabbed him and dragged him into a kiss when he pulled her back. Use them feminine wiles. ]

[ And that would so work for awhile. The tickling stopped as he kissed her back.

[ Gary could so get used to this. There was something almost wonderful and anxiety influencing in the best way about kissing her now. It wasn't just friends messing around.

Though he had to break for air, but he rested his head against hers.] This totally rocks.

[ Harley was a little dazed when he ended the kiss. ]

Mmm? Whuh?

[ That look was another of her many looks he'd probably never forget. ]

Nothing. [ Gary muttered, and leaned back in for a few more quick kisses, keeping her held close. Utterly content to stay like this awhile. ]

[ Harley had never fully known that love could be as easy at this. He smelled nice and he felt nice and he was nice. She wanted to slice him open and crawl inside and live there forever. But like, in a cute way. ]

She gonna make him a Tauntaun.

[ Gary would expect the other shoe to drop for a short while, due to that one bad experience. Still, this was easy and he could just go with the flow. As it was, he was so wrapped up in her, he didn't even realize he left his graphic novel downstairs when she jumped in his arms.

Oh, well.

Holding her close still, one of his hands idly playing with her hair.]

We should totally go out to eat later, like a real date. I didn't bring anything nicer to wear, but, fuck it. I want to take you out, if you want to go.

[ Harley pulled back just enough to look at him, but absolutely not enough that he had to stop touching her. ]

There's the Chili's next door.

[ Sure, it ain't fancy, but it is a place. ]

[ And he absolutely didn't remove his arms from around her. Just laying there looking up at her. Still in a bit of awe that it was really happening. ]

Sounds good to me, I'm so not picky, most of the time.

[ He could be, but only on things he really didn't like. ]

I'll figure out somewhere nicer next time, I promise.

[ The idea of planning a date with his girlfriend. That was so cool. ]

Do you want to go out now, orrrr...?

[ She didn't make any move to get up. ]

Oh, no, not yet. I'm comfortable, and not really hungry yet. Just let me know when you are.

[ He shifted some to make holding her a little more comfortable. ]

So, you totally told me all the bad, but did anything good happen while you were gone?

[ The sex before she killed that one guy was really amazing, but maybe that is not the right vibe.]

I got to meet a bunch of parrots!

[ Gary shifted one of his arms from around her to push a lock of her hair out of her face. Letting his hand drop between them after.]

That's cool. Do you like parrots?

[ He realized then that he didn't know a lot about her, but he was more than ready to learn. It just brought that lazy smile back to his features.]

[ She smiled at how gently he touched her, and slipped her hand into his. ]

I liked them. They were pretty, and sweet. I like most animals.

[ She leaned in and kissed his cheek, the bridge of his nose, his lips. ]

I didn't mean to only tell you bad stuff, you know. That's just how it's been.
